KININSO AT KING'S
We have been invited by the African Leadership Centre and Kings Global institutes of Kings College London to participate in Africa Week from 3rd to 7th March 2025. This event represents a significant milestone in our tour, and we are excited to engage in meaningful discussions around creative practice, youth-led social movements, and eco-criticism.
Interactive Creative workshop: 1-4pm, 4 March 2025, REACH Space
An interactive Creative Workshop led by our Creative Director; Joshua Alabi. The workshop explores the art of storytelling through unique, creative and innovative methods as well as inviting the participants to use their lived experiences as a basis for their creative work.
Panel discussion: 6.30 – 8.30pm, 4 March 2025, Bush House Lecture Theatre 3
A research-led panel discussion with esteemed scholars such as Adelene Buckland, Dr. Clement Sefa-Nyarko, Dr. Ella Parry-Davies and Raidat Iremide Karim, with Annabel Ali as the moderator. This involves a networking session that offers opportunity to connect with scholars from various disciplines within the college and a staged reading from our play Waterside, which delves into the themes of animism and ecology in the context of oil exploitation in the Niger Delta.
